Gifted Institute Denmark is proud to present their annual conference on giftedness on May 15th, 2025.

Alongside Danish and international practitioners and researchers, Gifted Institute will provide new perspectives and insights into some of the areas that can be challenging and negatively affect the well-being and development of gifted children and adolescents. 

This year's presenters have strong, professional profiles in each of their areas of expertise, and in addition they all have in-depth expertise in understanding, describing or working with the gifted population.


This year's conference theme: Giftedness - getting it right, is chosen with a desire to underline the statement that with increased understanding and curiosity, increased well-being often follows. 

At the conference the participants are inspired to dig deeper, as Gifted Institute and the invited experts help to create new nuances in the perception of gifted children and adolescents. With a child-centered approach and a clear focus on how we can turn challenges into strengths, the participants can look forward to an exciting conference with a focus on giftedness.

The conference will be held online on 15 May 2025. The duration is 4 hours, and there will be showings to fit different international time zones. 


OPPORTUNITY FOR IN-DEPTH TEACHING IN DYSLEXIA

As a supplement to the conference, Gifted Institute provides an extraordinary opportunity to join a teaching module with two of the world's leading researchers in dyslexia as a supplement to the conference.

Drs. Fernette and Brock Eide are the founders of Neurolearning.com and Dyslexic Advantage, and they are the authors of the internationally acclaimed book The Dyslexic Advantage. Both Fernette and Brock are used as lecturers at universities around the world, and their markedly different view on dyslexia has been groundbreaking for how dyslexia is viewed today.

Dr. Fernette Eide also participates in the conference, sharing her knowledge about the special stealth dyslexia, which is often experienced in gifted people, and which she and Brock were the first researchers to coin.
